The Loc Laboratory was born out of love, and a desire to see our people truly understand their hair.

After years of working in a salon, I noticed something that stayed with me. Young girls were mesmerized by Black women with long, healthy natural hair — as if it were rare. That moment made it clear: many of us were never taught how to properly care for what naturally grows from us.

So I created The Loc Laboratory.

And when I say “Loc,” I don’t just mean traditional loc styles. A loc is a strand — a section of hair. This brand is for natural hair in all its forms.

Rooted in education and intention, I create products made with natural ingredients and provide clear guidance on how to maintain healthy hair — because care without knowledge isn’t enough.

When I say we transcend, I mean we rise above misinformation, neglect, and limitation.

Our hair grows.

Our hair thrives.

And it deserves to be understood.
